The Assignment Task

• You will write a 5–8-page (double-spaced, not including title page and references) literature review and analysis paper on a specific topic within educational psychology.
• Your paper must go beyond merely summarizing a series of articles. Instead, you must synthesize the research to build a narrative that addresses a central question or thesis. For example, a weak paper would state: "Article A says X, Article B says Y." A strong paper would state: "The current research suggests a strong correlation between X and Y (Article A, 2020; Article B, 2018), however, the causal mechanisms are debated, with some researchers pointing to factor M (Article C, 2021) and others to factor N (Article D, 2019)."

Required Sections of the Paper:

1. Title Page:Following APA 7th edition guidelines.
2. Abstract:A concise (150-250 word) summary of your topic, thesis, main findings, and conclusions.
3. Introduction:
   • Introduce the topic and its relevance to educational psychology.
   • Clearly state your specific research question and thesis statement.
   • Preview the organization of your paper.
4. Literature Review and Synthesis (The Body):
