By the end of this module, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills required to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of international HR management with AI and be poised to make impactful contributions in the field.

  3. Provide detailed and well-structured answers, supported by relevant examples where applicable.
  4. Ensure clarity and conciseness in your responses. Please write the assignment within a range of 1500 to 2000 words.

Introduction

The GZ company has been in business for a decade and is now preparing to overhaul all its operations. John, the CEO, has begun collaborating with a tech company to revolutionize their HR processes. 

You've been tasked as a liaison to the tech company, providing them with thorough guidance, analysis, and specifics on how they can digitize and modernize the HR functions using suitable AI technology. Given John's non-technical background, part of your role will involve explaining the names and functionalities of the technologies involved in the transformation.

Task 1: Analyzing CVs and Identifying Top Candidates 

The company is receiving a large number of CVs from all over the world and the CHRO is worried about missing out on potential top candidates. 

a. Design an effective method that can analyze all CVs and identify the best ones, considering both regulatory compliance for data consent when using AI and 

b. Promote diversity.

Task 2: Streamlining Onboarding Using AI

We plan to optimize our existing onboarding process, currently spanning 3 days, through the application of AI, while upholding ethical and regulatory standards. Additionally, we will focus on enhancing socialization, an area John identifies as needing improvement.

a.  Explain in details how to deploy AI to refine our onboarding process without compromising ethical and regulatory protocols?

b. How do you propose we enhance social interaction during onboarding to meet John's expectations and ensure smoother integration for new team members?

Task 3: Enhancing Employee Engagement Using AI

The company faces a challenge with over 73.6% of its employees being disengaged, well above the benchmark of 48%. We aim to leverage AI to enhance employee engagement and cultivate a culture that embraces diversity and inclusion

a.   How can AI be effectively utilized to increase the level of engagement for the employees.

b. What AI initiatives can be implemented to promote diversity and inclusion? 

Task 4: Transforming training need analysis Using AI 

The company currently relies on just 3 global experts for conducting training needs analysis and that’s time consuming. 

a. Suggest the right AI technology and explain how it can be utilized to identify skill gaps. 

b. Hi-Tech company is offering this AI service separately at a cost of AED 650,000. It’s in addition to the total cost of the Learning & Development (L&D) department AED 1,870,000. Post-implementation, it is projected that the benefits will increase to be AED 4,530,000. Assess the ROI of AI.
